Over the past few years, I have been watching a shift in bridal fashion. More and more color in the trim, on the sash, in the embroidery - but Vera Wang’s latest bridal collection includes several colored dresses, including charcoal, mint and pink.

I have been in favor of pushing the color envelope for years. Probably ever since I saw Portia de Rossi's stunning peach dress in 2008. My friends may shake their heads but I'm thrilled to see more options!!! Range of choice is key.

Oddly enough, WHITE bridesmaids dresses made appearances in both the royal wedding and that Kardashian spectacles. An all white bridal party? That's breaking the rules for sure.
