Black cars, black cards, all black everything
Wendy's is launching a new burger....and its luxe!
Wendy's "Black Label" burger is rumored to debut in two flavors: Bacon Portabella ($4.89, dressed in mushroom sauce, muenster cheese, three bacon slices, tomato and pepper sauce) and Spicy Santa Fe ($4.49, decked in guacamole, pepper jack cheese, salad greens, tomato, red onion and a cilantro lime sauce). According to the poster, these burgers boast "the perfect harmony of signature taste and select ingredients."
The company, who has carved out a niche as quality fast-food for adults, admits that its strategy is to go after "fast casual restaurants" like Smashburger and Five Guys and the Black Label burger seems to be the next logical step. BUT where Wendy's will not be able to compete is with the competitors is atmosphere and menu options....which makes this hilarious to me.
In other fast food news, on January 11 police arrested a woman outside a McDonald's in Burbank, California after she allegedly offered sex to a customer in exchange for his chicken McNuggets.
