High Fashion. Low Calorie.

Diet Coke has named Jean Paul Gaultier as its creative director, a job that will include designing new bottles and working on retail and advertising concepts.

Since 2003, Coke has been collaborating with designers like Matthew Williamson and Marni and Karl Lagerfeld, who Gaultier is replacing. The famed designer, who is responsible for Madonna's 1990 cone-shaped bra, will make dieting look sexy as the brand's new fizzy, fashion personality.

Gaultier will introduce a small collection of limited edition diet coke bottles and cans to the public in addition to the development of stylish retail displays for the beverage company. The campaign themed ‘Night & Day’ pays homage to many of Gaultier’s famous collections and will run throughout 2012.

I'll drink to that!
